This is a must have, no debate! I have been using Dermaflage for nearly 10 years now, and using primer first ensures that your hard work stays put for DAYS. I am able to typically pull off nearly 3 weeks per application so long as I use primer first. Apply liberally! Do not be shy. This stuff along with the Dermaflage scar concealer kit is an absolute life saver, I don’t go a day without using it on my recessed scar I got from a childhood accidental fall.

I have used Dermaflage for 7 years and I absolutely love it! I have several deep divots on my face that I am very self conscious about. When I use the Dermaflage on those indented areas, they are pretty much invisible to anyone. I am no longer self conscious. It takes a little bit of practice to use the applicators, buy you learn quickly. Start by applying the primer. This really helps the Dermaflage stay on for a long time. Replace the cap on the Dermaflage applicator immediately after squirting some out, so the mixture in the tube will not dry out. Mix and apply the product quickly. Less is more. Use the purple texture pad. Hold in place for a minute or two. Gently remove it. You will not be disappointed in this product. It is wonderful!

This stuff works a charm in the first couple of months, however, after that, the fluid in the bottle begins to coagulate into a dry gel-like substance, and cannot serve its purpose anymore. There needs to be more information on the shelf life of the product, and the optimal temperature to store it at. I predict about 10% of the fluid in the bottle was wasted because of this clumping, which upset me a lot because it is already hugely expensive for the amount of liquid you get.

The primer is a must have even if your not oily. Where I live it is very hot and from time to time humid. The primer helps the product to wear longer and keeps it from peeling up on the edges. The are times I can go 48 hours before having to reapply even after washing my face.

The PRIMER IS A MUST HAVE! The filler can be tricky to figure out, but once you do, you’ll feel like you never had whatever blemish is bothering you. I have a big, recessed scar on my top lip right under a crooked nose. It’s from multiple cleft pallet surgeries. I always use the primer. I tried applying it without the primer and I dealt with the material sliding off, not being the right colour, or lifting around the edges. Since this scar is on my lip, my execution of the process has to be perfect or else it looks worse. I’ve actually had the primer sent to me overnight because it truly makes the product stick!
